The species Testudo graeca / Testudo ibera is composed of a complex of subspecies - unfortunately few references agree on the identification of these. Because of this, for the purposes of this gallery at the present time, this complex will be represented by multiple color variants of Testudo graeca known to have originated in this geographic range.
