These have become fairly scarce in the markets in Guangzhou now. Either India is starting to protect its wildlife better and/or the wildlife populations have been decimated to the point that there are very few left coming out anymore. Judging by the lack of other Indian species, it is likely that India has tightened it's restrictions.
Only one animal was seen in the markets on this trip. The animal below was found in the pet market area of Guangzhou's Qing Ping markets.
